Pricing & Fee Waivers

Account Monthly Service Fees^* and Non-Citi ATM fees are waived for customers in the Citigold Private Client, Citigold or Citi Priority Relationship Tiers during the calendar month. If your Combined Average Monthly Balance (CAMB) does not meet the minimum required for three consecutive calendar months, you’ll automatically be Re-Tiered.

In addition to Relationship Tier waivers, Monthly Service Fees are waived for Regular Checking accounts and Access Checking accounts when the account has $250 or more in Enhanced Direct Deposits (“EDD”).^** In addition to Relationship Tier waivers, Monthly Service Fees are waived for Citi Savings accounts and Citi Accelerate Savings accounts when the account has an Average Monthly Balance of $500 or more, or if an owner of the Savings account also owns a Regular Checking account or Access Checking account. Tier Exclusions apply to certain customers through separate notice.

^**An Enhanced Direct Deposit (EDD) is an electronic deposit through the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) Network of payroll, pension, social security, government benefits and other payments to your checking or savings account. An EDD also includes Zelle^® incoming payments and other funds from person-to-person (P2P) payments when transferred through the ACH Network using providers such as Venmo or PayPal. Teller deposits, cash deposits, check deposits, wire transfers, transfers between Citibank accounts, ATM transfers and deposits, mobile check deposits, debit card funding transfers, and P2P payment transfers sent to a Citibank debit card do not qualify as EDDs. Any funds transferred from another financial institution or P2P provider through an instant transfer service will also not qualify as an EDD.

Accounts that maintain a zero balance for 90 calendar days are subject to account closure at Citibank’s sole discretion.

Relationship Tier & Re-Tiering Information

Customers who did not own a Citibank checking, savings, CD, IRA, or investment account (investment accounts are offered through Citigroup Global Markets, Inc.) in the 30 days prior to opening a new deposit account (“New-to-Relationship customers”) may choose their Relationship Tier when opening a deposit account. If you are a New- to-Relationship customer, you will begin to enjoy benefits of Citi Relationship Tiers upon account opening. We will begin reviewing your Combined Average Monthly Balance (CAMB) for all Eligible Deposit and Investment* (EDI) accounts in the first full month after you open your new account. You must achieve a $30,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citi Priority Relationship Tier. You must achieve a $180,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citigold^® Relationship Tier. You must achieve a $800,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citigold^® Private Client Relationship Tier. Your CAMB is determined by calculating the average monthly balance of all EDI accounts you own during a calendar month.

All customers, including customers not in a Relationship Tier, have access to everyday features and benefits from the products they own with Citi.

^*Eligible deposit, retirement, and investment accounts (investment accounts are offered through Citigroup Global Markets Inc.) (EDI) that you own or for which you are beneficial owner can contribute toward your CAMB. Please refer to the Consumer Deposit Account Agreement to determine which EDI accounts contribute toward your CAMB. The following accounts are excluded from EDI accounts: accounts owned by Estates, COMMA accounts, Collateral Holding accounts, Secured CD accounts, certain personal investment companies, accounts in a money purchase plan or profit sharing plan, accounts in a tax-qualified education savings plan, and accounts opened through Citi Global Wealth at Work and Citi Private Bank.

Re-Tiering will begin reviewing your CAMB in the first full month after account opening, however it takes three full months of CAMB to be impacted by the Re-Tiering process. New-to-Relationship customers will not be impacted by Re-Tiering until the 1st day of the fourth full month after account opening. The Relationship Tier for existing customers can change in any month. To move to a higher Relationship Tier, you must sustain that Relationship Tier's minimum Balance Range for three consecutive calendar months. If you want to maintain your Relationship Tier, you need to make sure your CAMB does not drop below your Relationship Tier's minimum Balance Range for three consecutive calendar months. When you are automatically Re-Tiered, we'll inform you of your new Relationship Tier on your Account Statement. You may opt-out of Relationship Tiers, and the Re-Tiering process, by speaking to a banker in a branch or calling Citiphone banking.

Family Linking

If you are a deposit customer and choose to enroll in Family Linking with Eligible Family Members (“Members”), your family Combined Average Monthly Balance (CAMB) may be higher than your individual CAMB, entitling you to join Relationship Tiers offering benefits such as higher Annual Percentage Yields and certain fee waivers. Only Immediate Family Members living at the same residential address can participate in a Family Link and restrictions apply. Although Members will not have access to accounts they do not own, they will see the CAMB range for the Family Link. When deciding to join a Family Link, customers should evaluate their privacy needs along with their need for combined balance advantages. You can terminate that membership in a Family Link at any time by calling us or visiting a branch. Please see definition of Members in the Family Link section of the Consumer Deposit Account Agreement and note retirement accounts have different rules for Family Linking than other EDI accounts.

Everyday Benefits

All customers, including customers not in a Relationship Tier, have access to everyday features and benefits from the products they own with Citi.

65,000+ Fee-Free ATMs. Claim is based on locations in the United States where customers can make cash withdrawals with no surcharge (usage) fee by the ATM operator. Citibank customers can get cash, get information and make transfers between their eligible linked Citibank accounts with no surcharge fee when they use their Citibank^® Banking Card at ATMs in the U.S. located at Citibank branches, ATMs at select retail store locations, and ATMs participating in the MoneyPass^® Network; regular account charges apply. ATMs in retail stores and at other non-Citi locations are not owned or operated by Citibank and offer fewer functions. Use the Citi Worldwide ATM/Branch Locator on Citibank Online or the Citi Mobile^® App to find the nearest ATMs and branches, including non-Citibank ATMs in the U.S. with surcharge free access. Citi Mobile App and Mobile Check Deposit. In order to use digital features on Citi Online or the Citi Mobile^® App including merchant offers and money movement products, like Mobile Check Deposit and Zelle^® payments, you must agree to receive monthly statements and some legal notices electronically, only, when setting up digital access if you have not previously agreed. You can change your delivery preferences at any time after registration by managing the paperless settings for your account, and you’ll continue to have access to digital features.

Regular account charges apply. Citibank does not charge you a fee for using the Citi Mobile^® App or the Mobile Check Deposit service. You must have Internet access through your mobile device and charges from your wireless carrier may apply. Deposit limits and other restrictions apply. The Citi Mobile^® App is available for use with compatible mobile devices. No Overdraft Fees. While Citibank will not charge you an overdraft fee, Citibank encourages its customers to consider the impact of overdrawing an account. The ability to overdraw your account may be limited. An overdrawn account has a negative balance. An account can become overdrawn when a Transaction Item is deducted from your account and causes your account to have a negative balance or increases the amount by which your account is negative. In the event of insufficient funds to pay one or more Transaction Items from your Available Now Balance, in our sole discretion we may return (“Returned Item”) or pay (“Overdraft”) one or more Transaction Items. We may discontinue permitting Overdrafts without cause or notice to you.

You may deposit checks into your account that are returned, regardless of whether or not your account is overdrawn. In addition, Access Checking accounts are designed so that Transaction Items that cause an overdraft will not be authorized.

Commission-free Trading. Commission-free trading of ETFs excludes leveraged and inverse ETFs and applies only to trades placed online and on the Citi Mobile^® App. Clients will pay a commission to buy or sell ETFs by phone. ETFs are subject to management fees and expenses; refer to each ETF’s prospectus for more information. Account service fees may also apply. There are other costs associated with ETF and mutual fund investing, such as management fees and expenses.

Citi Self Invest. Citi Self Invest is a digital self-directed investment platform of Citi Personal Wealth Management.

Citi Mortgage Relationship Pricing. A Citibank deposit account and automated monthly transfers of the mortgage payment from a Citibank personal deposit account using automated drafting will be required to receive Citibank mortgage relationship pricing. Ask a mortgage representative for details on eligible balances and the qualifying closing cost credit or rate discount. Availability of the Citibank mortgage relationship pricing for Citibank account holders is subject to change without notice.

Citi reserves the right to temporarily reduce your limits to protect the security of your account. Your limits may be lower if you are recently enrolled in Zelle^® or you have made a change to your enrolled phone number, email address or linked account number.

Wire Transfer Fee Waiver. Fees for incoming domestic and international wire transfers will be waived. The outgoing wire transfer fee will be waived for wires in foreign currency that are initiated through Citi Online or Citi Mobile. All other wire transfers, including wire transfers in foreign currency initiated at a branch or assisted by a banker and wire transfers in U.S. dollars, are subject to the fees described in your Consumer Deposit Account Agreement. Access to Citigold Lounges. ATM Fee Reimbursement. Other banks and ATM service providers may charge you a fee when you conduct a Citibank deposit account transaction using their ATMs. You will receive reimbursement from Citibank for ATM fees charged by other banks in any statement period where you are in the Citigold or Citigold Private Client Relationship Tiers. This ATM reimbursement is limited to consumer accounts.

Citigold Standard Design Checkbook Waiver. Fees for Citigold standard design checkbook are waived. A fee will be charged for non-standard design checkbook order (includes non-standard design, non-standard lettering, non-standard cover and non-standard logos).

Citigold Culture Pass. For customers in the Citigold or Citigold Private Client Relationship Tiers, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (Guggenheim), and The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) benefit provides complimentary daytime admission (weekdays and weekends during normal business hours) for a client and one guest. Customers who own a Citibank deposit account associated with an active Citigold or Citigold Private Client CPC branded debit card (“Debit Card”) entitle the customer named on the Debit Card to participate in Citigold Culture Pass. Citigold Private Client Cardmember Banking Relationship.

To qualify for the Banking Relationship First Year and Annual Credits, the primary cardmember must have an open and current Citi^® / AAdvantage^® Executive Card account with an assessed Annual Membership Fee of $595. Cardmembers paying an annual fee of $595 will earn a $595 statement credit in the first year of cardmembership and a $145 statement credit each cardmembership year thereafter. Up to $300 Annual Hotel Benefit via Citi Travel
Once per calendar year, enjoy up to $300 off a hotel stay of 2 nights or more when booked with Citi Travel via cititravel.com or 1-833-737-1288 (TTY:711). This benefit is subject to the following eligibility requirements: To receive the annual hotel benefit, you must pre-pay for your complete stay with your Citi Strata Elite Card, ThankYou^® Points, or a combination thereof. If you choose to use the benefit, up to $300 will be applied to your reservation at the time of booking. If your reservation is less than $300, the remaining amount of the annual hotel benefit will be available for your next qualifying purchase in that same calendar year. If you cancel a booking for which you used any or all of your annual hotel benefit, the benefit will be returned to your account after the cancellation is processed and will remain available for use on any remaining days in the same calendar year. For example, if in November you make a qualifying reservation for March of the next year and use your $300 Annual Hotel Benefit, but you cancel the reservation in January, you will forfeit that benefit for the prior calendar year. Up to $200 Annual Splurge Credit^SM
Each calendar year, you may receive up to $200 in statement credits towards purchases made with an activated Splurge Credit merchant. Only the primary cardmember may sign-in at citi.com/splurgecredit or call 1-833-888-2168 (TTY: We accept 711 or other Relay Service) to select the Splurge Credit merchant(s) they would like to activate for their Splurge Credit. You may activate no more than 2 Splurge Credit merchants at any time. When you activate a Splurge Credit Merchant, we register your activation using Eastern Time. This could impact the day your new Splurge Credit Merchant is activated, or a merchant being replaced is deactivated, depending on your time zone. You may change your merchant(s) selection at any time. Once selected, a merchant is activated as of 12:00 AM ET on the day the merchant is selected. For example, if you select a merchant at 11:00 PM ET on a Wednesday, all purchases made with that merchant from 12:00 AM ET on Wednesday may qualify for a Splurge Credit. If more than two merchants are selected in any day, the final two selections at 11:59 PM ET will be activated for that day. Splurge Credit merchant options are subject to change at any time. Once a Splurge Credit merchant is activated, credits will be issued for purchases at the activated merchant that post to the Citi Strata Elite Card, up to a total of $200 each calendar year. In order to receive a Splurge Credit, the Splurge Credit merchant must be activated when the purchase is authorized by the merchant. If the Splurge Credit merchant was activated when the purchase was authorized but is no longer activated when the purchase posts to the account, the purchase will still be eligible for a Splurge Credit. If the merchant does not authorize a purchase, for whatever reason, then the purchase will not be eligible for a Splurge Credit. Purchases made by either the primary cardmember or Authorized Users are eligible for Splurge Credits. However, the total amount of Splurge Credits will not exceed $200 per calendar year for the Account, regardless of who made the purchase.

Splurge Credits are applied after the purchase posts to your account. Splurge Credits are applied to the annual Splurge Credit amount for the calendar year the purchase was authorized. Eligible purchases that are authorized before December 31st, 11:59 PM each calendar year are eligible for statement credits within that year even if the purchase posts to your account the following year. Some merchants will not process a purchase transaction until the merchandise is shipped, this may delay when a purchase posts to your account. If a merchant authorizes a purchase repeatedly over time before posting the purchase to your account, Citi will use the last authorization date to determine eligibility. Citi is not responsible for when a merchant processes a transaction or how many times they authorize a transaction, if at all. Citi reserves the sole right to determine which year’s Splurge Credit benefit an eligible purchase is applied to.

Citi Nights eligibility is based on the day and time your restaurant purchase is authorized, not when the transaction is posted to your Account. For example, when paying for your dinner, the restaurant may authorize your purchase at 8:00 PM ET on a Friday night, but the transaction does not post to your Account until Monday. In this example, your purchase will qualify, because the purchase was authorized during Citi Nights. ThankYou Points will be issued to your Account once the purchase posts to your Account and is based on the amount of the final transaction, not the authorization amount.

Restaurant purchases made outside of Citi Nights may post to your Account on a Friday or Saturday. However, these purchases will not qualify for Citi Nights if the authorization for the purchase occurred at a time other than between Friday 6:00 PM through Saturday 6:00 AM ET, or Saturday 6:00 PM through Sunday 6:00 AM ET. For example, a restaurant purchase you made on Thursday night that posts to your Account on Saturday night would not qualify because the authorization took place outside the Citi Nights timeframe.

Merchant Classification for Rewards Categories. Merchants are assigned a merchant category code (“MCC”), which is determined in accordance with Visa/Mastercard/American Express procedures based on the kinds of products and services the merchants primarily sell. We don’t control the assignment of these codes and are not responsible for the codes used by merchants. When you use your card to make a purchase, we're provided an MCC for that purchase. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers. Sometimes you may expect a purchase to fit within a rewards category, but if the code assigned to the merchant wasn’t grouped into that category, as recognized by Citi, your purchase will not qualify for additional points. For example, you won't earn additional points for purchases at a restaurant located within a retailer if the restaurant is assigned a “retailer” code instead of a “restaurant” code. Please also note - purchases made through mobile/wireless technology may not earn additional points depending on how the technology is set up to process the purchase. We reserve the exclusive right to determine which purchases qualify for additional points.

Only Purchases Earn Points. You’ll earn Points for purchases using your Card Account, minus returns and refunds. Balance transfers, Citi Flex Loans, cash advances, checks that access your Card Account, items returned for credit, unauthorized charges, interest and account fees, travelers checks, foreign currency purchases, money orders, wire transfers (and similar cash-like transactions), lottery tickets, gaming chips (and similar betting transactions) do not earn ThankYou Points. When using Citi Flex Pay, you only earn ThankYou Points on the original purchase.
